He is an experienced corporate lawyer specialising in listings on ASX (IPOs and reverse listings), equity capital markets, mergers & acquisitions and providing advice on corporate governance and compliance issues.
He is sought out for his expertise and guidance across a range of legal, governance and compliance matters that are commonly considered by the Boards of unlisted and ASX listed entities at every stage of their growth, from listings, secondary raisings and strategic acquisitions or investments. David is a trusted adviser to dozens of boards and senior management across a range of industries, including technology, health care, industrials, e-commerce and mining.
David is a leader within the company secretarial, governance and registry practices at Automic Group to ensure that it delivers the highest possible level of corporate compliance for its clients.
Andrew specialises in running medium to large-sized litigation matters in the State Supreme and Federal Courts (typically in relation to commercial or employment disputes), and development appeals in the Land and Environment Court. He is also experienced in drafting employment and executive services agreements and in handling termination of employment and restraints of trade. Prior to joining Automic Legal in January 2012, Andrew was a senior practitioner in a dispute resolution and litigation team at Morgan Lewis, working with Alistair McKeough. Before that he was Manager of Award Interpretation at Qantas. Since 2015, Andrew has been a Mentor to newly admitted lawyers through the Law Society of NSW’s Young Lawyers Mentoring Program.
