How do I elect to retain my shares online?

To elect to retain your shares, you will need to log in or register for the Automic online investor Portal. Once logged in, navigate to the “Offers” tab and you should see the event you wish to make an election for appear like the picture below:

To retain, first click on Participate, then follow the prompts to either elect to sell or retain your shares. 

If the offer does not appear, your account may not be linked to the HIN or SRN for the event you wish to make an election for. To check, go back to the portfolio page and locate the holding in the company you wish to make an election for. If it does not appear there, you can add the holding using the add holding button on the right-hand side of the screen, or register for a new account using the details for the holding you wish to make the election for.
